What We’re Up To
This is our first newsletter and we wanted to let you know the basic information about this exciting project.
THE QUESTION is a short narrative film about bridging the political divide in the United States. As you probably know, political polarization in our country threatens our democracy as our different political parties become more and more hostile to each other to the point where a large percentage Americans feel we might be heading to a civil war.
We are producing THE QUESTION to play a significant role in depolarization and find ways to bring our communities together in more positive ways. The film tells the story of two individuals from opposite sides of the political spectrum who are forced to confront their biases and assumptions about each other. Through their interactions, they begin to see each other as individuals rather than simply representatives of a political ideology. The film is a powerful reminder of the importance of listening, understanding and empathy, even when we significantly disagree.

Filmmaking requires a lot of resources and we are trying to raise $20,000 in 30 days. We will need your assistance to get to that goal and you can help in more ways than donating money.
The most effective way to help spread the word is to connect with your own communities. Talk to a friend or a family member about our campaign. Post on Instagram, Twitter or whatever social media you use. Email someone you know who wants to bridge this divide too. All of these efforts will make a difference.
